Microsoft Nederland took an unconventional step by closing their offices in The Outlook (Amsterdam Schiphol) for more than ten weeks so it could be rebuilt from top to bottom. The whole new Office now is one Customer Experience Center, transformed to a Smart Human Environment.
Purple was asked to support this process by developing the brand story & statement, which would connect the new interior and functions to the corporate and Dutch mission. We worked closely together with Microsoft’s project team and their architecture agency D/dock, and developed a strong statement brand story, supported by sub-stories about the power of digital transformation, both at Microsoft and their clients.
At a practical level, the Purple studio team produced the essential visual stories, animations and supporting imagery to be displayed at over 15 screens in all shapes forms possible. The ‘Microsoft swarm’ is the central visual element, showcasing collaboration and Microsoft’s empowerment. Purple also composed a video about the Microsoft digital transformation, telling the compelling story of how companies (and Microsoft itself) change and optimise themselves using various Microsoft solutions.
