For McDonalds The Netherlands, we have created a special WebVR production, as a preview to the 2017 marketing campaigns. The 2017 theme is backstage, in an effort of corporate transparency, stakeholders and customers will be provided with backstage insights in a series of activities. The WebVR experience was used to announce the plans to franchise-holders and employees.
In this production, WebVR technology was applied to provide users the lowest barrier to the VR experience, by simply sharing a web URL to be entered into the smartphone browser. In the McDonalds WebVR page, a series of 2D videos was attached for additional information.
